Hydraulic loading
High-pressure oil drives six working cylinders through a coordinated pressure circuit.
Industrial HPHT equipment for controlled synthesis of superhard materials and advanced high-pressure research.
01 / Equipment Overview
A cubic hydraulic press creates a stable high-pressure, high-temperature environment by driving six opposed anvils toward the center of a cubic sample assembly.
Hydraulic power supplies the compressive load. A high-current circuit then heats the internal reaction cell while sensors, intensifiers and the control system coordinate pressure, temperature, dwell and decompression. The large usable volume makes the equipment suitable for both repeatable industrial synthesis and research that cannot be performed in smaller diamond-anvil cells.
High-pressure oil drives six working cylinders through a coordinated pressure circuit.
Six anvils converge along X, Y and Z axes to confine the sample assembly uniformly.
High current passes through the cell heater to generate and hold the target temperature.
Programmed pressure and cooling profiles protect the product and tooling after synthesis.
02 / Working Principle
The exact pressure-temperature relationship is established through tooling design, cell calibration and process recipes, not hydraulic pressure alone.
Powder, catalyst, heater, insulation and pressure medium are assembled to the validated recipe.
Six cylinders advance under synchronized control until the programmed hydraulic pressure is reached.
High current raises cell temperature while the control system maintains load and process stability.
The material is held for transformation, cooled under pressure, then decompressed at a controlled rate.
03 / Engineered Advantages
Configurations are engineered to the process, cell size, output target and local utility conditions. Final values are confirmed in the technical proposal.
Finite-element analysis, controlled forging or casting, dedicated heat treatment and non-destructive inspection support uniform deformation and long fatigue life.
Main-machine design pressure supports demanding HPHT duty; routine operating limits are defined for each delivered configuration.
Working cylinders and hinge beams form a rigid, space-efficient body with reduced operating noise.
Pressure, dwell, heating and decompression recipes can be configured for repeatable production.
Material testing, ultrasonic inspection, hardness checks, metrology and trial operation are built into acceptance.
Cast and forged-welded platforms cover laboratory development through high-volume industrial synthesis.
Installation, commissioning, operator training, spare parts and remote diagnostics are available for export projects.

It is a large-volume high-pressure apparatus that uses six opposed anvils to compress a cubic reaction assembly from three orthogonal axes. It can generate HPHT conditions for material synthesis and physical research.
Depending on cell design, pressure medium, tooling and calibration, systems can be configured for working-chamber conditions up to approximately 6 GPa and 2000°C. Hydraulic pressure and chamber pressure are different values.
A high-current power system passes current through a resistive heater inside the reaction cell. Temperature is controlled through a validated power curve and, where applicable, thermocouple feedback.
Typical products include industrial diamond, lab-grown diamond, CBN, PDC and PCBN compacts. The platform is also used for functional materials, semiconductor research and geoscience experiments.
Cast frames are proven, economical platforms across a broad size range. Forged-welded structures can offer improved material consistency, fatigue strength and deformation control for demanding long-cycle service.
Uniformity depends on cylinder synchronization, anvil geometry, guide accuracy, cell assembly consistency and calibration. The hydraulic and control systems are tuned together during commissioning.
True triaxial research configurations can use independent high-precision control for all six cylinders, enabling synchronous or asynchronous loading, confining pressure and differential stress paths.
Please provide the target material, cell size, pressure and temperature, dwell time, batch rate, planned output, available utilities, floor constraints and local compliance requirements.
A typical system requires three-phase electrical power, cooling water, hydraulic oil management, ventilation, foundation capacity and safe material-handling access. Exact loads are model dependent.
Available measures include mechanical guarding, pressure and temperature interlocks, over-pressure protection, emergency stop circuits, controlled decompression and restricted-access operating zones.
Yes. The project scope can include foundation guidance, installation supervision, commissioning, trial production, operator training, preventive maintenance planning and remote support.
The cubic press itself is normally an electrically powered fixed installation. For Cronus crushing and biomass product lines, electric-motor, diesel-engine and mobile wood-chipper configurations can be customized separately.
